Washburn Heating and Cooling ​excels in service after the sale. Most contractors are not capable (or willing) to offer the necessary annual maintenance. Most HVAC contractors do not specialize in geothermal systems and have limited knowledge of their functions. If there is a problem, many times we are able to determine over the phone what is affecting the unit. Then we are able to direct a homeowner through needed corrections and resetting the system. The added value is found in not waiting for a response. You could be back to heating/cooling right away, potentially saving service call fees. 

Smarter Equipment

Today's HVAC equipment is more high tech, efficient, and smarter. Some units go into a safety lockout when environmental factors change. Some can communicate directly with the thermostat to tell you when the filter needs to be changed. 

With high tech equipment comes the need for technicians with experience in diagnostics. Washburn Heating and Cooling's technicians have been trained to diagnose HVAC problems in as little as 30 minutes. 

HVAC Technicians are doctors for your heating and cooling system. Sometimes they can discover the problem right away and you are only charged one diagnostic fee. However, sometimes several trips have to be made, more tests have to be performed, and eliminations have to be made. With each trip comes a diagnostic fee.
